1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive:

• Your name (as provided by the sign-in provider)
• Your email address
• A unique account identifier

We do not receive or store your Apple or Google account password.

Shift and Tip Data

You voluntarily enter the following information to track your earnings:

• Shift dates
• Net tips earned
• Hours worked
• Optional notes about your shifts

App Preferences

We store your preferences including:

• Currency selection
• Pay frequency and pay day settings
• Biometric authentication preference

Security Data

Your app PIN is stored securely on your device only using encrypted local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers.

Analytics and Crash Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect:

• Anonymous app usage data (screens viewed, feature usage)
• Crash reports and error logs to improve app stability
• Device type and operating system version

This data does not include your financial information or shift data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Tip Trackz service
• Sync your shift data across your devices
• Calculate earnings summaries and analytics
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) with the following protections:

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Firestore security rules ensure you can only access your own data
• Your PIN is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage and is never sent to any server
• Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's secure enclave

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or financial data with third parties. Your tip and shift data is private to your account.

We use the following third-party services solely to operate the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — authentication only

5. Data Export

You can export your shift data as a CSV file at any time from within the app.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Settings screen. When you delete your account:

• All shift and tip data is permanently deleted from our servers
• Your user profile and preferences are removed
• Your authentication account is deleted
• This action cannot be undone

7. Children's Privacy

Tip Trackz is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
